ROLE OF THE EXTERNAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE IN EVALUATING PROJECTS FOR CDD FUNDING
- Proposed projects for the various CDD Funding programs may be evaluated by an External Advisory Committee (EAC).
- EAC funding criteria/decisions will be based on (1) scientific merit, (2) how completing the proposed project will facilitate project advancement, and (3) probability of success. EAC members will also evaluate projects for fit within the mission of the CDD.
- EAC members are experienced industry drug hunters with career focus in assay development/screening, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics (DMPK), in vitro pharmacology, and in vivo pharmacology.
- EAC members have signed a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to participation as a member of the committee.
